Teaching and Research Assistantship Information
Teaching and research assistantships will be preferentially awarded to students who do not have other employment, on or off campus. Students receiving RA or TA support may work no more than 10 hours per week for pay at a second job.
TA Selection Criteria
Current PhD and MS Geoscience students in good standing are given first preference for TA positions. New students or MA students in the Geoscience Department are given second preference for TA positions. Within these groups, TAs are selected based on academic achievement and familiarity with course subject material.
