Registration, Tuition, and Fees
Registration
-
Enrollment is limited to qualified students with preference to those who apply first and are applying for multiple weeks of the HFC.
-
Places in each week are available to professionals and non-WMU students.
These places will be filled in the order in which registration fees and completed applications are received.
Those applicants applying for multiple weeks of the HFC are given higher priority toward acceptance.
Preregistration, for non-WMU students, includes completion of an application for admission to Western Michigan University, this can include either a Guest Enrollment Application (Undergraduate) or Non-Degree Status Application (Graduate). Check with your university to determine the best option.
A college transcript showing completion of a course in hydrogeology should be included with the application. Additionally, a non-official copy of college transcript should accompany your HFC registration form.
For professionals who have not taken a formal hydrogeology course, a letter from the applicant's employer verifying the applicant's competence in hydrogeology should be included with the HFC application.
-
Preregistration as soon as possible is highly recommended but must be completed by June 1, 2012.
-
A non-refundable reservation fee of $100 per week must accompany each application, see fees for more information.
Applicants will be informed within four to six weeks following the date the application is received whether or not they meet requirements and are admitted to the course.
The deposit will be refunded if acceptance is not granted.
Following notification of acceptance, the deposit will be regarded as non-refundable.
